I grew up in a time where playing outside was encouraged. Mostly because there were no computers or cellphones to keep us busy. I am so thankful for the childhood I had. After school and my tutor sessions, I would hear my friends yell for me to come down to play. I played bare feet, chased rains, jumped in mud and went home everyday with a cut or scrape on my leg. My mom would be baffled at how I can always manage to come home with bloodied legs. When we played there was no limit to our imagination. Sometimes I never even felt the pain. I just loved being outside. I fell in love with the outdoors even more after my trip to Arizona & Utah last year. It was an eye opening experience. The world is absolutely beautiful and no picture will ever do it any justice. You just have to get out there and see it, breathe it, feel it.
Now I’m constantly craving sunshine, gardens and wanderlust. My style is also changing and I started to embrace more florals and maxi dresses. Although, Jeans & T-shirts will never leave my closet. As I get older I’m feeling more free and spiritual, so I’m embracing this newfound boho love. Here I’m wearing a beautiful custom eShakti dress at a favorite place of mine, Cauley Square Historic Village.
I invite you to meet me in the garden. Let’s play outdoors and talk about this beautiful world!
