My sister and I ended our short NY trip with an amazing brunch at Vandal New York. I’ve heard great things about Vandal, it’s one of New York’s most popular restaurants. We were there on a Saturday, it was pretty empty at first but it filled up pretty quickly for the brunch rush. I requested to sit at the Garden Room, you know to make sure I get the right light for my insta foodie pictures. We were seated right by the giant windows in the Garden Room. The murals on the wall reminded me of the murals in Wynwood, Miami. I did a little research, it’s by a renowned British street artist, Hush. Who also did many of the murals at Wynwood Walls.
The Brunch as expected was delicious! That coffee pancakes was hands down the most delicious pancakes I’ve ever had! I don’t even know why no one else ever thought of this before. Now that I’ve tasted coffee pancakes, that’s pretty much all I want for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don’t even get me started on their churros and spicy chocolate dish (pic below).
Next time you’re in New York, Vandal is definitely a place you should stop by for a yummy brunch (esp. the coffee pancakes) with a view.
New York I love you and I will see you again soon.
