Brrrrrr! Omg I did not expect it to be so cold in NY this past weekend. I mean I should’ve known better, the weather app did show it was going to be in the 30’s to low 40’s. Somehow, I thought ehhh no big deal at least it’s not like in the 20s. Honestly, I have no idea what I thinking. I just knew I would layer a lot during this short trip. And oh the layering I did! For this look, I think I wore a thick tank top, a thermal shirt, a turtleneck sweater and then the over-sized burlap sack looking awesomeness from Zara. This brown hoodie sweater was a hit by the way! People actually complemented me on this look. But, that’s just New York for ya’. Either they have something very nice to say or the opposite.
Last time I visited the High Line was during spring for my best friend’s bachelorette trip. This time since it was my sister’s first time ever in NYC we decided to visit the High Line. It was a little weird to see the place quite empty and no flowers in sight. But the views of the roads, people and the gorgeous buildings when the sun was going down was just unbelievable. This city will always leave me in awe.
I’m definitely planning a spring NYC trip with my sister next year!
