Now that all the posts are up on the blog. I wanted to share a quick itinerary of the places we visited on this beautiful road trip during the 4th of July week.
We decided to land in Vegas and stay there one night. Flights from Miami to Vegas are pretty affordable. Much more affordable than landing in Salt Lake City or anywhere in Arizona. For us, the trip worked out great once we entered all the locations on Google maps. The entire trip looked like a lasso. It seems fitting, we were kind of visiting the old west Americana.
Day 1: Landed at McCarran International Airport. We stayed one night in Vegas to recharge before the long drive the next day. On our way to Utah, we made a pit stop at Valley of Fire. I highly recommend visiting this park if you’re ever in Vegas.
Day 2 & 3: We drove to St. George, Utah to meet up with some friends. It’s a beautiful little city with really nice shops/restaurants in the area. From St. George the drive to Zion National Park was a little less than an hour. We stayed 2 nights in Utah.
Day 4: We drove to Arizona to visit Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell & Upper Antelope Canyon. See the One Day in Arionza post for more details. We stayed one night in Page, Arizona.
It was definitely the road trip of a lifetime! There’s so much to see in our own country. I will for sure plan more road trips like this soon. If you have any recommendations, I would love to hear it. Feel free to ask me anything about this Arizona & Utah Summer Road Trip. I will try my best to help any way I can.
