It’s amazing when you clean the house, oh the treasures you find. My parents are in the middle of a move and my mom found a pile of some of my old clothes. In that pile, she found this dress that was designed by me 4 years ago! I remember designing it and working with a tailor in Bangladesh to make this dress. I don’t remember why I never wore it or what happened in that 4 years. After finding this gorgeous dress – my passion for design is coming back. I was an enthusiastic DIY-er, I used to make shoes, jewelry and no-sew clothes. It was something that I dabbled on during my college years. Now, I definitely want to start designing my dream boho dresses again. I remember I loved sourcing the fabric, drawing the sketches, working with the tailor and finally seeing the finished product. For my next designs, I will be working with the best seamstress I know – My mother. She saw this dress and asked me to come up with more designs. This will be a passion project with my Mom this year! So excited!
