Last week, I was invited to attend an exclusive luncheon at the Delray Beach Open by The Venetian® Las Vegas, it’s a 10-day tennis tournament with all star players, DJ booths, and out of the box events. All the events took place in Downtown Delray Beach. This was my first time attending a tennis tournament, and I had no clue what type of outfit to wear to an event like this. But then again it was a ladies luncheon, so I opted for a classy look.

I found my gorgeous dress at Bebe, it was love at first sight. I’m a sucker for silk/chiffon type of materials. This dress had everything I liked, from the sleeve length to the shocking navy color. In the midst of spectators who came in their khaki shorts and white t-shirts, I stood out like a classy chic smurf. But the dress definitely had people staring and some sweet compliments didn’t hurt either.

If you guys haven’t checked out the Downtown Delray Beach area, you have to. It’s a drive from Miami, but so worth it. The area is so peaceful and bright with little shops and restaurants. I wish I stayed a little longer for the tennis tournament, but I had to work. I definitely plan on visiting the area soon.
