Event Recap: #MiamiSwimWeek 2015

Oh what a week! Runway shows, brunch and late night parties – Miami Swim Week 2015 was full of endless events. I had a chance to attend some of the events but missed quite a few. Unfortunately, a lot of the shows overlapped. My calendar for the week looked extremely colorful, which made me excited but also gave me a little anxiety. I literally had to uber from hotel to hotel in Miami Beach for 48 hours straight. With Eid and friends in town, it felt like my weekend was a little more hectic than it should be. So basically no sleep but non-stop fun!

Now that I’ve rested, here’s my recap on some of the events I attended.

1. |Jul 14| Kicked off Swim Week with Miami Magazine’s Splashion 2015. I was a little bummed because I missed the Laundry by Shelli Segal runway show but had the chance to watch Adam Lambert perform up close and personal. Stay tuned for some adorable Laundry by Shelli Segal swimsuit inspo on the blog soon.

2. |Jul 18| Brunch with Glamour Magazine and Daniela Ramirez of Nany’s Klozet. There was also some much needed makeup touch-ups by Neutrogena cosmetics.

GOTTEX Cruise 2016 Runway ShowAlthough I missed A LOT (no seriously!) of event & shows (Art Hearts Fashion, Rob & Lulu, Mia Marcelle, Hot As Hell, Frankies BikinisTreats Magazine Party, and the Glam App Launch) I still had an amazing time. Till next year Miami Swim Week! Hopefully next year the events are more organized and so is my calendar!
