Festival Flea Market Mall, Pompano Beach

I love huge markets, especially when there’s bargain shopping involved! The thrill of walking around on a lazy Sunday to hunt for deals is the best. My mother is the reason why I fell in love with bargain shopping. She used to visit local flea markets and antique stores to find unique items that were always ridiculously affordable.

I was invited to visit the Festival Flea Market Mall in Pompano Beach. It was the perfect timing, I had to drive up north for a meeting and as you can tell – I would never pass up on a chance to visit a mall! Also I knew I would find all my travel essentials at Festival for my upcoming trip to Utah. Keep scrolling down to see all the goodies I found at this place.

The mall is full of over 300 merchants that includes everything from clothing, shoes, salon, furniture, artwork, a produce market, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrance, sunglasses, swimsuits and so much more. Festival is having its 25^th anniversary this year!

The main reason I stopped by the Festival Flea Market Mall was to purchase some much needed items for my Summer travel. The mall had pretty much everything imaginable. I found a beautiful tribal print Jansport backpack for hiking, gorgeous rare jewelry, some cute tops and carry on beauty items. One thing I realized is that the Festival Flea Market Mall is more of a mall than a flea market. When I asked why does it still have ‘Flea Market’ in the name? Lisa in Marketing told me that the mall used to be an outlet mall and they just never changed the name. While I was shopping, I did come across some $200 and over $100 fashion items. But believe me the quality and uniqueness of the items matched the price!

I was a little bummed that we didn’t get to spend more time at the Hillsboro Antique Mall which is connected to the Festival Flea Market Mall. I have to drive up again to go antiquing soon! It’s indoor and can be found at the end of the mall. As soon as you enter, you will be in awe of how every little space was filled with rare vintage finds. I saw brooches, western jewelry, comic books, vintage postcards, toys, chandeliers and so much more. I can’t wait to go back!

The FestiValue dollars cannot be redemmed at the Hillsboro Antique Mall.
