In Denver With Volkswagen July 3, 2017
Thank you Volkswagen for sponsoring this trip. All opinions are 100% my own.
Sometimes I come across opportunities that make everything I do so worthwhile. This is why I love creating content. I love to discover new places, things and it gives me a chance to work with some of the best brands in the world. When the team at Volkswagen contacted me to join them in Denver, I didn’t hesitate one bit. I’ve driven Volkswagen before, once on a road trip to Gainsville and last month in Palm Springs. This time they invited me to test drive their all-new 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan.
I landed in Denver (my first time ever) and was immediately picked up by the VW team and quickly checked into Halycon hotel in Cherry Creek. I was so impressed with this chic hotel in a beautiful corner of Denver. For me, the most impressive part was the record player with old school vinyl. I danced around the room listening to Fleetwood Mac! Almost missed the reception, I was just having too much fun! The VW went above and beyond to make their guests feel right at home. I met so many fun wonderful people at the reception, hung out till late and went to bed excited about the adventure in the mountains the next day.
The next morning, woke up and again ran a little late to the breakfast but I was so ready to pick my Volkswagen Tiguan and go for a ride. Check out this beauty! I started the day with driving around the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan in White Silver Metallic. There was a set of instructions to follow, thanks to my partner that day we followed the instructions carefully and drove through some of the most beautiful scenic routes.
I’m always so in awe when I see places like these. The Earth is so majestic! I drove around the curvy mountain roads, through fogs and bumpy dirt roads. All the while admiring both the car and everything around me. I can’t really describe the feeling so well, it just felt really peaceful!
One of the best features in the Tiguan is the second electronic 12.3″ display front and center. It features driver assistance, navigation, trip and mileage info which came in handy while driving! I didn’t have to look to the side for my navigation, it was right there in front of me.
At the end of the trip, we had to stop by the Red Rocks Amphitheater to snap some pictures of this car. Right after lunch, I joined a couple of bloggers and switched the car to the color Habanero Orange Metallic. The car also has expanded cabin capacity with an available 3rd row and seating for seven! The seats can fold down for more room, making it the perfect car for adventure trips.
I noticed that the car picked up speed really fast. But, I realized my driving partner was on the sport mode while he was behind the wheels. He was having a little fun with the speed. Once I changed the mode to normal, for me the drive was smooth and easy.
This compact crossover SUV was a perfect car to drive around the mountains. This car is very spacious and has tons of legroom for the driver.
The headlights are equipped with optional Dynamic Light Assist that automatically react to street lighting and other vehicles’ headlights. It really helped while driving through unexpected clouds and fogs when we were up almost 1800 feet!
I already miss driving this car! What do you think of the all-new 2018 Tiguan?
xoxo, Afroza
