My Favorite Facial Oils: Pixi & Manuka Doctor October 23, 2016
For the last couple of months I have started to incorporate facial oils into my beauty routine and it changed my routine completely. It is the best thing I’ve ever done for my skin. Using oils on a face can sound a little insane. I used to think well what if the oils cause acne and what if the oils make my face sweat more than before! So I did a little research and started to experiment with these two facial oils.
As a beauty & fashion blogger, I get to try awesome new products. If I love them, I write about them here. So today, I would like to introduce you to two of my favorite facial oils that I’m absolutely obsessed with.
First of all this serum smells heavenly! I add a drop of this serum with my foundation every morning. The makeup just goes on smoothly and I also noticed it stays on much longer. The serum combines a cocktail of rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed, sweet almond and rose geranium oils. This oil is not greasy at all, it absorbs to the skin nicely. It leaves a subtle glow. I’m telling you, the glorious fragrance of this oil will make you want to apply this oil everywhere. I’ve noticed such a difference on my dry skin which is now soft to the touch.
Manuka Doctor Replenishing Facial Oil
I will be honest, this oil has a smell that I’m not a super fan of. At first, it can be really overwhelming. This is the oil that I use at night before going to bed. Waking up to a bright and glowy skin is the best. This oil also absorbs quickly, but I tend to apply a lot on my face, lips and decolletage. The oil is formulated with powerful plant extracts to brighten and smooth uneven skin tone. Manuka is a species of plant, native to New Zealand and Australia. The oil derived from the plant has many health benefits, such as anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, helps in healing scar tissues and much more. The Manuka Doctor Replenishing oil also includes Argan Oil, Tamanu Oil, Avocado Oil, Rose Hip Oil, Sunflower Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Ricebran Oil, Seabuckthorn Oil, Cranberry Seed Oil, Neroli Oil and Vitamin E. I’ve noticed a lot of my old acne scars from my face slowly fading. It’s definitely delivering all that it’s promising.
