New Year’s Reset Staycation at Biltmore Hotel Miami Coral Gables January 29, 2019
January 2019 is almost over and I must say, I started this year off the most luxurious way possible. A staycation at Biltmore Hotel Miami Coral Gables was a dream come true. Every little corner at this historic hotel is breathtaking. Just take a look at the room I stayed in. The decorations, color, and atmosphere in Biltmore Hotel is pure luxury!
Hotel stay means must-have room service.
Another angle of the glorious room. Love the way the sunlight peeks through. Oh and I’m completely obsessed with the crystal amethyst chandelier. Currently on the hunt to find one for my room.
The Biltmore Hotel is a National Historic Landmark, officially opened in 1926. It’s located in the beautiful Coral Gables area. The resort has 271 rooms and features incredible Mediterranean architecture with classic Italian, Moorish, and Spanish influences over the 150 acres of tropical landscape.
Biltmore hotel offers a restored Donald Ross 18-hole, 71-par championship golf course, a European spa, tennis courts, fitness center and the largest hotel pool on the East Coast of the United States with private cabanas. The Biltmore pool is world-famous, measures approximately 23,000 square feet and holds 600,000 gallons of water. It’s easy to take a dip in the pool, it stays a warm 80 degrees at all times!
The first night we had dinner at the chic Fontana restaurant. A traditional Italian restaurant surrounding The Biltmore courtyard and fountain. It was a chilly night out, so having dinner inside was the perfect choice with a large group of people. Of course, I had to try the steak which was just delicious. If you want authentic Italian food, a night a the Fontana is a must!
New Year’s reset wouldn’t be possible without a day at the spa. The spa is situated on the 7th floor with gorgeous panoramic views of Coral Gables. The elegant spa is 12,000-sqaure-foot sanctuary for personal peace and tranquility.
The Biltmore Spa Boutique features a fun and interactive BABOR Beauty Bar. This BABOR corner showcases the company’s most exclusive products such as Ampoule Concentrates, DOCTOR BABOR HYDRO RX – a collection formulated with triple-action hyaluronic acid and HY-3 peptides to hydrate, plump and add radiance to dehydrated and lackluster skin.
At the Biltmore Spa, I truly experienced New Year’s Reset thanks to an amazing BABOR facial. BABOR treatments are based on science and the pioneering research of founder Dr. Michael Babor. During the facial, the technician uses a specific approach to the treatment which delivers precise and effective result tailored for an individual experience. This technique leaves skin firmer, more radiant, and smoother in appearance. I received the Vita-Detox Therapy Facial. The exclusive detoxifying complex contains high dose vitamins C and E, as well as RetinewA16 complex, minerals, and anti-oxidants that treat and pamper the skin and help neutralize the harmful substances that induce aging.
When you do visit the Biltmore Hotel, don’t forget to look up. The details are truly incredible.
After the spa day, it was time for Afternoon Tea at the Biltmore. It was a great way to end the staycation and besides the amazing facial, afternoon tea was one of my favorite things to do at the Biltmore Hotel Miami Coral Gables. Inspired by the Vanderbilt tradition of sharing afternoon tea with guests, the Afternoon Tea offers sampling of fine cheeses, artfully prepared sweet and savory canapés, and a selection of Newby Teas.
Thank you for the incredible staycation Biltmore Hotel Miami Coral Gables and Babor.
xoxo, Afroza
