Travel Eats: Lazy Flamingo in Sanibel, Florida September 25, 2015
The road trip to Sanibel Island was a breeze, thanks to Lincoln MKZ. After checking into Casa Ybel Resort we headed straight to find a local eatery. The long 3 hour drive left us quite hungry. I was craving seafood! Good thing almost every restaurant in Sanibel was a seafood restaurant. We drove around for a bit to familiarize ourselves with the island. This pretty bright pink Lazy Flamingo restaurant caught our eyes, so we had to check it out.
The restaurant had a dark, cozy atmosphere that was very inviting.
We went for a little bit of a variety: fried calamari (couldn’t find it on the menu, we saw someone else with it. Ended up ordering twice, it was DELICIOUS), burgers, and grilled Salmon.
After lunch, we walked around for a bit to burn off all the deliciousness. This place is truly pink and adorable.
