♦ DAY 3 ♦
Welcome to Day 3 at the Royal Caribbean‘s Mariner of the Seas weekend cruise. If you haven’t seen the post from Day 1 & 2 yet, here it is. In that first post, I completely forgot to mention the late night fun we had on the ship. After dinner, we checked out Sky Pad, it’s a brand new virtual reality, bungee trampoline experience on Mariner of the Seas. It was definitely a unique experience and pretty thrilling. We also did Karaoke and made a total fool of ourselves. The audience absolutely loved it! We were just having too much fun. Someone suggested we check out the Scavenger hunt game called ‘The Quest’. We didn’t know what to expect but it was the best thing I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t stop laughing and screaming the entire time. Make the time to attend the shows, everyone involved puts so much effort into making sure the guests have the best experience. I took some videos and I might put it together on YouTube or IGTV to share the entire experience (stay tuned).
Day 3 was the last day of this amazing weekend trip. It was another early wake-up call and we met up with the group at Starbucks (Yes! There’s a Starbucks on this ship). The ship was now at Nassau, Bahamas. We left Mariner of the Seas to get on a small boat for our next location, a private island called Pearl Island.
♦ Pearl Island ♦
This view of the pretty pastel house and a lighthouse on Pearl Island made me so happy. From the boat, the Island looked small but very welcoming. The day was really hot but there are spots where you can relax the day away under the umbrella. We walked into the water and stayed in for a while. The water was crystal clear and shallow for miles. At Pearl Island, the best views are from the lighthouse. You can see the entire Island and some of the nearby islands from the top.
Lunch at Pearl Island included delicious Lobster & fish dish and Nassau’s famous Bahamas beer Kalik!
I can’t get over this view of blue & teal water near the white sandy beaches.
With my best friend Leena, having her with me on this trip made it way more memorable and fun. Getting away with your best friend for a weekend is pretty much the best idea ever. The days go by pretty fast when you’re having fun, but the memories we created will last forever.

It was sad to say goodbye to this gorgeous Island. But I made a decision then and there that I will definitely come back.
After our day at Pearl Island, we had a couple of hours to get ready before heading to Chops Grille restaurant. It was our last day dinner, so we dressed up in our best attire and sat down at this beautiful restaurant. My view from my seat was just breathtaking. I remember I kept saying ‘I can’t believe that’s our view right now.’
Besties since high school. This was our first trip together, just the two of us! And I think this was hands down one of my favorite trips ever, thanks to Royal Caribbean!
– SHOP THE OUTFITS –
The night didn’t just end at dinner. We all went back and changed and was extremely hyped to play laser tag. Yup, there was laser tag on the ship! Running through that maze to find the aliens was a workout, but way too much fun. It got intense at some points but we all came out winners, even though I had lowest score out of everyone.
While walking back to our room, we realized there was a party going on in the main lobby. The cruise director and some of the staffs were in their best 80s getup and singing all the hit 80s songs. Everyone was dancing and singing along, so we joined in and of course stayed for a while.
The next morning (Monday), it was time to say goodbye to our ship and head home. The place looked empty but beautiful. Here are some gorgeous interior details of Mariner of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas exceeded all my expectations. I never knew you could have so much fun on a ship. The fun activities, amazing staff members, incredible customer service and unexpected surprises made this weekend trip one of the best. I will never forget this experience and I’m so glad I captured so many moments to share with you all. Hope you enjoyed my posts. If you would like more information on my experience please don’t hesitate to ask.
